A boost of colours from Missoni Home at ISaloni 2016

| Martina Pardo | Archive

I always liked Missoni stands at the Milan Design Fair; running into the pavilions, I usually try not to miss them. I really like their bold colour choices and the mix of materials which is never boring; they have a great balance between luxury and playfulness. Last month, for the fourth consecutive year, I managed to pop in and I surprisingly found out that the colour palette was much darker than before. I actually liked a lot this nighttime-party feeling and the wire pendants that they hung; they suggest a try to switch into a more linear design and I think that it overall works very well.

The last edition was joyful, full of pied-de-poule, with a natural twist; you can see some pictures that I posted here.

How do you find it? Are you in the dark mood as well this year?
