The Denham Project is a new building developed exclusively as a Student Accommodation. The scheme includes 164 sqm of communal spaces. For this space, we took inspiration from Cork’s local architectural features, which meant using a soft colours palette from the city itself. Using these characteristics, we managed to create a relaxing and refreshing style with neutral hues. One of the main challenges was to make each space accessible respecting Irish strict regulations. We worked closely with the architects, accessibility consultants, project managers, and contractors coordinating drawings and communication. The process required great attention to detail and making sure each party stayed always up to date. This allowed us to reach the desired objective making the space completely accessible while complying with all the regulations.
