A Designer at Heart is in charge of the design of communal areas for a student accommodation in Dublin, Ireland
Different pop of colours define each room with specific feeling: soft and cozy Lounges with warm red touch, relaxing cinema room, energising and botanical servery, a moody gym in blue accent, modern and wellness feeling for the Study room and a urban and modern coliving corridors.
This project is a brand new student residence which includes communal areas such as a chill out area, Tv Lounge, Cinema room, Servery in the existing glasshouse, gym and quite study rooms with private meeting rooms covering an area of 1100 sq mt. The main inspiration was taken from the old Brewery, we opted for an industrial style mixed with a warm colour palette and inspired by the typical red bricks prevalent throughout the city. The constrasts between the industrial style of the exposed concrete columns and floor with the warmt of nature colours reflect the grey and bricks of the urban center.
